Happy New Year!
Let me take this opportunity to wish you all a happy new year. I know however for many Kenyans, the new year is not very happy as it started off on the wrong foot - post election violence! My condolences go out to all the families that have lost loved ones and wish the injured a speedy recovery.
In Westlands, I came 3rd out of 24 parliamentary candidates (behind Fred Gumo & Betty Tett). There were many forces beyond my control that attributed to the loss, a leading one being voting for the party as opposed to the individual, popularly known as the 3 piece system.
As I look forward to continue working with the Westlands community for the next 5 years, bringing leadership and development, I thank all that supported my campaign in whatever form. It made a difference!
